Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Director located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Assistant Director will be responsible for supporting the Director in all phases of filmmaking, including pre-production, production, and post-production. The role involves managing schedules, facilitating communication between departments, assisting with casting and scouting locations, overseeing rehearsals, coordinating with crew members, and helping to ensure that the film stays on budget and on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Experience in film production, directing, or assistant directing
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of film production tools and software
  • Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Prior experience working on film sets or in a similar role is preferred
  • Degree in Film, Media Studies, or related field is beneficial
