Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Articled Student based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Articled Student will assist in conducting audits, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, assisting in tax filings, supporting advisory engagements, and maintaining proper documentation for audit processes. The role involves close collaboration with senior team members to develop technical and professional skills while contributing meaningfully to client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of
    accounting principles
    and an interest in learning about auditing, taxation, and compliance work.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving mindset
    with attention to detail.
  • Good
    organizational and documentation skills
    to assist in maintaining audit files, working papers, and client records.
  • Effective
    communication and teamwork skills
    , with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
    ; familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree (completed or ongoing)
    in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
    Freshers are welcome.
  • Prior knowledge of
    tax or VAT laws
    is not required but will be considered a plus.
