Head of Finance

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, looking for a Head of Finance for a leading company in the Logistics sector.
This position will be based in Bangladesh.
This role requires a proactive leader capable of translating numbers into actionable insights and driving financial discipline throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, reporting, and cash flow management.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management and the board.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement strong financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure to support business growth.
- Partner with operational teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 7–10 years' experience in senior finance roles, ideally within logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries.
- Proven track record in financial leadership, strategic planning, and business partnering.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
