Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Officer-Child Protection, located in Cox's Bazar District. The Senior Officer will be responsible for the implementation of child protection initiatives, promoting community engagement, facilitating capacity-building activities, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key responsibilities also include coordinating with stakeholders and authorities, monitoring program interventions, and preparing detailed reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Community Service and Community Engagement to promote and drive child protection initiatives.
  • Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and authorities, including preparation of reports and documentation.
  • Experience in conducting Training sessions to build capacity within partner organizations and local communities.
  • An understanding of working with Police or related legal systems as it pertains to child protection cases is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in on-site roles with diverse teams in complex environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant work experience in child protection programs.
