Position Overview

As a
2D Motion Designer

at ThemeTags, you will play a crucial role in transforming static visuals into dynamic, engaging animations that enhance our digital products and marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams to create compelling motion graphics that elevate user experience across web and mobile platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in animation principles, creative storytelling, and proficiency in industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create
    high-quality 2D animations

, motion graphics, and explainer videos for web, mobile apps, and marketing campaigns.
- Design
storyboards

and visual concepts that align with brand guidelines.
- Animate illustrations, typography, and UI/UX elements for interactive prototypes.
- Develop and produce
showreel animations

that showcase the company's portfolio and capabilities.
- Work closely with
designers, developers, and marketing teams

to deliver assets that enhance user engagement.
- Apply
creative transitions, effects, and timing

to bring ideas to life.
- Stay up-to-date with
animation trends, tools, and techniques

.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong skills in UI Animation for Mobile, SaaS, and Dashboard.
  • Strong skills in Showreel and Logo Animation
  • Proficiency in
    Adobe After Effects

(core requirement).
- Strong skills in
Adobe Illustrator

&
Photoshop

for asset creation.
- Experience with
storyboarding & animation principles

.
- Understanding of
timing, pacing, and visual storytelling

.
- Ability to work with
Figma/Adobe XD

for UI animation prototypes (bonus).
- A
portfolio or showreel

showcasing relevant motion design work.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of
    3D motion graphics

(Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Video editing skills in
Adobe Premiere Pro

- Experience in
social media content creation

.
