Role Description
The Sales Manager (Corporate Training & Partnerships) will be responsible for driving enterprise-level revenue by transitioning our sales model from individual ticket sales to corporate training packages, bulk conference enrollments, and high-value sponsorships. This role focuses on building long-term corporate partnerships, managing a sales team, and positioning Global Conference Alliance's conferences as essential professional development solutions for regional and global organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Identify, target, and close high-value B2B deals with senior leadership teams.
- Recruit, train, and manage Sales Representatives and International Agents to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop vertical-specific sales strategies (e.g., technology, healthcare, manufacturing, RMG).
- Maintain CRM accuracy and deliver reliable monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
Corporate Partnership Development
- Consult with corporate clients to design bundled solutions, including conference access, exclusive workshops, and certified training programs.
- Lead end-to-end negotiations for corporate sponsorships, bulk enrollments, and multi-city exhibition packages.
- Manage and grow key accounts to ensure repeat business across the annual conference calendar.
Operational Excellence
- Generate qualified leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI tools, and targeted outbound strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Event teams to share market insights on emerging corporate training needs and demand trends.
Bangladesh Corporate Networking
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships within DCCI, BASIS, BGMEA, and other industry associations.
- Engage directly with Heads of HR, Talent, and Learning at leading Bangladeshi organizations (e.g., telecom, NGOs, MNCs, RMG exporters).
- Design and promote "Corporate Enrollment Packages" for teams of 10+ employees, highlighting ROI and international certification value.
- Attend corporate networking events, industry seminars, and business mixers in Dhaka and Chittagong to build a strong sales pipeline.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to sell high-value B2B solutions to senior decision-makers.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and performance coaching skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Ability to manage multiple sales cycles and partnerships simultaneously.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- (UGC-approved universities only; DU IBA preferred).
- Preferred: MBA or certification in Sales Management, Corporate Training, or Business Development.
- 3–5+ years of successful B2B sales experience targeting corporate decision-makers (Directors, C-suite).
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing or leading a sales team.
- Experience in Events, Education, Corporate Training, or International Conferences is highly preferred.
- Proven exposure to international clients or multi-time-zone sales environments.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern prospecting tools.
- Ability to leverage AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for personalized outreach, research, and data analysis.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in corporate training revenue and bulk conference enrollments.
- Sales team conversion rates and quota achievement.
- Retention rate of corporate clients across event cycles.
