We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager to oversee the complete merchandising operations of our woven fabrics export business. The candidate will be responsible for managing buyer communications, costing, product development, order execution, and timely delivery in coordination with production, sourcing, and quality teams. This role requires strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
1.
Buyer Communication & Order Management
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with international buyers.

* Handle buyer inquiries, product development requests, sampling, and approvals.

* Manage order booking, costing, and pricing negotiations.

. Product Development
* Coordinate fabric development including lab dips, sample yardages, and approvals.

* Ensure timely submission of samples and approvals.

3. Production & Supply Chain Coordination
* Monitor order execution from fabric production to shipment.

* Liaise with sourcing, dyeing, and quality control teams to ensure compliance with buyer requirements.

* Resolve production or quality issues proactively.

4. Commercial & Documentation
* Coordinate with commercial teams for L/Cs, payments, shipping documents, and other compliance needs.

* Ensure adherence to export regulations and buyer compliance standards.

5. Team Leadership & Reporting
* Lead and guide junior merchandisers and assist in their professional development.

* Maintain accurate records and provide periodic status reports to management.

Job Specification
Education
: Bachelor/Master in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience
: Minimum 5–7 years in merchandising (woven fabrics/trims sector preferred) with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Skills & Competencies:
* Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, trims, dyeing, and finishing processes.

* Excellent communication (English), negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/merchandising software is a plus.

* Ability to handle multiple buyers/orders under pressure.

* Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
