Role Description

This is a contract and hybrid role located in Dhaka, with the flexibility to complete some tasks from home. As a Supplier Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new manufacturers, ensuring compliance with all audit and quality standards. You will work closely with suppliers to collect, verify, and organize business documentation while conducting quality assurance checks. Additionally, the role involves coordinating communications between the manufacturers and the UK-based team, addressing any inquiries, and maintaining supplier data for seamless collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Supplier relationship management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of auditing, compliance, and quality assurance processes related to manufacturing.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to collect, verify, and maintain supplier documentation.
  • Ability to integrate technology solutions in supplier management and experience with relevant software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities to handle inquiries and challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English; fluency in Bengali is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or sourcing is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is beneficial.
