. We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Assistant Logistics Manager
to enhance our logistics network by optimizing processes, securing strong partnerships, driving cost-effectiveness, and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Operations Management:
    Oversee all outbound freight flow operations in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan to ensure seamless and efficient transportation, significantly enhancing operational effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Liaison:
    Collaborate with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), carriers, and internal departments to guarantee timely and complete shipment arrangements, thereby elevating delivery reliability.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Drive LSP performance by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and conducting regular reviews to uphold compliance and operational excellence.
  • System Updates and Compliance:
    Ensure real-time system updates by LSPs for full shipment visibility and document compliance, fostering transparency and accountability in logistics operations.
  • Quotation and Tender Management:
    Manage ad hoc quotations and airfreight tenders, striving to secure cost-effective solutions that enhance overall logistics efficiency.
  • Project Leadership:
    Lead logistics projects aimed at optimizing operational processes, driving innovation, and improving service delivery.
  • Team Development:
    Supervise and mentor the Logistics Specialist, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education
    : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Shipping, or Logistics, or equivalent experience demonstrating a proven ability to optimize logistics operations.
  • Experience
    : Minimum of 5 years in freight forwarding/logistics, preferably within a buying or liaison office, with a strong track record of managing logistics in the Indian Subcontinent.
  • Regional Expertise:
    Experience working for India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan shipments, with a deep understanding of regional logistics challenges and opportunities.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential; good written and spoken Hindi is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and adept at utilizing logistics software for operational management.
  • Personal Attributes
    : Well-organized, detail-oriented, initiative-driven, and proactive with the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Communication Skills:
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
