Job role:

· Act as the main force behind the organization, establishing processes and procedures that guide and support the entire Sales Function.

· Ensure the sales and marketing agenda is in place, set and achieve sales targets, develop new products, improve existing ones, strengthen overseas partnerships, promote a culture of productivity, and execute sales goals.

· While performing the role, create sales and product-focused strategies, plan and implement revenue targets for the country, manage key accounts, guide product development, address department issues, and select and nurture sales team members.

· Create a marketing plan to drive business growth and establish the DGL brand identity.

· Identify key business locations and conduct feasibility studies for DGL representation.

· Provide feasibility reports for new Strategic Business Units (SBUs) with SWOT analysis.

· Take a strategic approach to build a corporate client base for DGL.

· Set business objectives for specific locations to align with corporate goals.

Professional experience and skills

· Knowledge of the logistics industry and rapport with the corporate sector

· Knowledge of freight forwarding, a minimum of 4-6 years

· Excellent marketing and selling skills

· Convincing knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

· Excellent communication skills and PR

· Teamwork and interpersonal skills

Academic Qualification

· Graduate/BBA/MBA from a recognized university

· Any Diploma / Basic professional course in Sales & Marketing, Public Relations (Optional)

· Degree related to logistics preferable

· MBA - optional
