We're looking for an experienced
Technical Team Lead

to guide our engineering team in building a scalable, real-time communication platform. You'll own the
architecture, development oversight, and delivery

, ensuring our product is robust, performant, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the technical architecture and development roadmap
  • Lead and mentor a small cross-functional team (frontend + backend)
  • Oversee design, code quality, and delivery timelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Manage infrastructure setup and deployment pipelines
  • Integrate with Matrix (Synapse + Bridges) and plan for Jitsi-based A/V features
  • Ensure scalability, security, and performance across the stack

Tech Stack Overview:

  • Backend:

/ Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, Redis
- Frontend:

React / (with WebSocket or SSE for real-time interactions)
- Infrastructure:

Docker, basic Kubernetes, or Docker Compose
- Integrations:

Matrix (Synapse + Bridges)
- Future Add-ons:

Jitsi (for audio/video calling)
- Hosting:

AWS, DigitalOcean, or other cost-efficient cloud platforms

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SaaS product development
  • Strong expertise in
    , React, PostgreSQL, Docker
  • Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects
  • Familiarity with
    Matrix

Jitsi

integrations
- Solid understanding of system design, CI/CD, and cloud hosting (AWS/DigitalOcean)
