Role Overview

As our Dhaka‐based

Senior RAN Engineer
, you will lead the local RAN engineering team and act as the primary technical liaison to customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams. You'll leverage your 10+ years of hands-on experience with base-station parameterization, fault-management and performance-management to design, deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot Nybsys' small-cell and macro-integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor and grow a high-performing RAN engineering team in Dhaka.
- Deployment & Configuration:

Define and validate base-station parameter sets for 5G NSA/SA and LTE deployments across indoor and outdoor scenarios.
- Fault Management:

Lead fault-detection, root-cause analysis, and resolution processes—both remotely and on-site—to maintain SLA compliance.
- Performance Optimization:

Monitor KPIs (through NMS and OSS tools), analyze trends, and implement tuning recommendations for capacity, coverage and handover performance.
- Customer Collaboration:

Serve as the RAN subject-matter expert for operator and enterprise customers, conducting workshops, trainings, and regular technical reviews.
- Vendor Interoperability:

Work closely with major RAN vendors (Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, ZTE) to integrate Nybsys small cells with their core and transport networks.
- Documentation & Reporting:

Produce clear, concise technical proposals, design documents, run-books, and post-deployment reports in English.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:

Partner with Product, NMS, Security and Software teams to drive feature enhancements, bug fixes, and release planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related field.
• 10+ years

of progressive experience in RAN engineering (LTE and/or 5G) for mobile or private network deployments.
- Deep understanding of base-station parameters (RF, RRC, S1/Xn, SON, power, timing) and proficiency with their configuration via OSS/NMS interfaces (e.g. TR-069, NetConf).
- Proven track record in fault-management and performance-management: KPI analysis, drive-test insight, alarm-handling workflows.
- Hands-on exposure to at least two major RAN vendors: Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson or ZTE.
- Strong leadership and project-management skills; ability to prioritize under pressure and deliver tight deadlines.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication; ability to author professional solution documents and present to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with small cells or similar integrated indoor units.
• RAN deployment planning, deployment, and trouble shooting experience.
• Familiarity with open-RAN concepts (CU/DU split, O-RAN interfaces).
• Automation scripting (Python, Ansible) for bulk configuration or KPI reporting.
• Knowledge of microwave/fronthaul transport and timing synchronization (1588v2, SyncE, GPS).
