Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka for the role of Assistant Network & System Engineer. The role involves monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity and system issues, assisting in the configuration and deployment of network devices and servers, and ensuring system security. The Assistant Engineer will also document technical processes, provide support to end-users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations while delivering reliable services.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in system administration tasks, such as server configuration, backup management, and access control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of network security principles, tools, and best practices, as well as experience with monitoring systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to new technologies and processes as required.
