Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Sales Executive
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the Sheets and Reel-to-Reel business for a defined set of customers in the Bangladesh market. This role involves expanding market share, managing distributor sales, achieving revenue and profitability targets, and ensuring operational excellence across the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills in English and Bangla, and a proven track record in B2B manufacturing and distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Sheets and Reel-to-Reel segments.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture new customers, ensuring market expansion and penetration.
- Collaborate with distributors and convertors to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor pricing, margins, and competitive dynamics to ensure sustainable profitability.
2. Distributor and Channel Management
- Manage relationships with distributors, ensuring effective stock management, order processing, and payment collection.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to align on growth plans, promotional activities, and sales performance.
- Oversee the distribution network to maintain adequate inventory and service levels across regions.
3. Market and Customer Engagement
- Conduct regular market checks and gather competitive intelligence from offset and digital printers.
- Engage directly with end-users to understand needs, identify new opportunities, and strengthen Avery Dennison's market position.
- Represent the company in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meets to promote the brand and products.
4. Financial and Operational Accountability
- Ensure timely collection of funds from distributors and convertors, minimizing credit risk.
- Track and report sales metrics (daily/weekly/monthly) using Excel and ERP systems (Oracle preferred, Sales force ).
- Prepare detailed business reports and presentations for management review.
5. Compliance and Supply Chain Coordination
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate closely with supply chain teams for demand forecasting, order planning, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or label industries.
- Demonstrated success in managing distributors, channel sales, and direct customer accounts.
- Exposure to Bangladesh market operations will be an advantage.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel for reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred, sales force if any).
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of import/supply chain processes and related documentation.
