Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Backend Developer
to join our backend team. This role is critical in designing and implementing the server-side logic of our applications, ensuring seamless data exchange, robust business logic, and high system performance. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in
, NestJS, MongoDB (including Aggregation Framework)
, and
advanced JavaScript/TypeScript
, with strong logical thinking and testing skills.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including frontend developers, AI/ML engineers, and product managers—to deliver reliable backend solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development
    : Design, build, and maintain backend services using

    and
    NestJS
    , following industry best practices.
  • Database Management
    : Implement and optimize data models, queries, and aggregation pipelines in
    MongoDB
    to support high-volume and complex data operations.
  • Logic Implementation
    : Translate business requirements into clear, efficient, and scalable backend logic.
  • API Development
    : Build secure and performant
    RESTful APIs
    (and optionally GraphQL) to connect front-end applications and external systems.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
    : Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and minimize production issues.
  • Collaboration
    : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of backend services with front-end systems and third-party tools.
  • Performance Optimization
    : Monitor and enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Documentation & Code Standards
    : Maintain high-quality, well-documented code and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting
    : Identify and resolve system bugs, logic errors, and production issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in

    backend development.
  • Proficiency in
    NestJS
    for modular and scalable backend architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of
    MongoDB
    , including data modeling, indexing, and the
    Aggregation Framework
    .
  • Strong command of
    TypeScript
    and
    Advanced JavaScript (ES6+)
    features.
  • Proven ability to
    design and implement complex business logic
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    testing frameworks
    (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Jasmine).
  • Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with
    Git
    and collaborative workflows.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with

    and API gateway patterns.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, DigitalOcean) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of

    and distributed systems.

  • Awareness of security best practices (e.g., OWASP, authentication/authorization methods).

Professional Background

  • Minimum
    2–3 years of professional experience
    in backend development.
  • Demonstrated track record of contributing to production-level backend applications.
