PIE International Education is a South East Asian test prep provider and education consultant that has been winning people's trust for more than a decade. The organization helps students tackle professional, aptitude, and academic tests, and place hundreds of students every year in universities across the globe. PIE is an Approved Learning Partner of GED Testing Service, Pearson VUE Select Testing Center, IDP & British Council Approved IELTS Registration Center and IELTS Testing Center. PIE also has recruitment partnerships with universities in USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and UK.

The role is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is on-site with PIE. PIE has Four branches in Dhaka: Uttara Branch, Banani Branch, Siddeshwari Branch and Dhanmondi Branch.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior International Counsellor in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Senior International Counsellor will offer customized guidance to students about study abroad options through the application process, overseeing the application process, including documentation, deadlines and maintaining a constant communication with the universities and colleges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in counselling students about study abroad options
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An outgoing personality and ability to conduct presentations to large and small groups
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
