Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative
GDevelop Developer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the
GDevelop game engine
and a strong passion for building fun, interactive, and engaging 2D games. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and publishing games while ensuring seamless gameplay mechanics, optimized performance, and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement
    2D games
    using the
    GDevelop game engine
    .
  • Build and refine
    gameplay mechanics, levels, and progression systems
    to create immersive player experiences.
  • Utilize
    event-based programming
    (no-code/low-code system in GDevelop) to implement logic and interactivity.
  • Integrate
    graphics, animations, sound effects, and other assets
    into game projects.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to deliver polished and high-quality games.
  • Apply
    UI/UX best practices
    to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Optimize games for smooth performance across
    Android, iOS, and Web (HTML5)
    platforms.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues within GDevelop projects.
  • Ensure creativity, attention to detail, and innovation in all aspects of game design.
  • Maintain and update a portfolio of GDevelop projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong experience with GDevelop game engine
    (must-have).
  • Proven ability to
    design and develop 2D games
    using GDevelop.
  • Solid knowledge of
    event-based programming concepts
    in GDevelop.
  • Experience in creating
    engaging and interactive gameplay mechanics
    .
  • Understanding of
    game design principles
    such as levels, logic, and progression.
  • Skills in
    integrating assets
    (graphics, animations, and sounds) within games.
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX
    design for interactive applications.
  • Experience in
    publishing games
    to Android, iOS, or Web platforms.
  • Strong
    problem-solving and debugging skills
    .
  • Creativity and attention to detail
    in game development.
  • A
    portfolio or previous GDevelop projects
    is required for consideration.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience with other game engines or tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting or coding languages (JavaScript, C#, etc.) for extended functionality.
  • Familiarity with
    game monetization strategies
    and in-app purchases.
  • Understanding of
    player engagement, retention, and analytics
    .
