Ngen Print Pack Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/ Sr. Manager in the Commercial sector to lead procurement planning, oversee export-import operations, and coordinate with vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing rolling forecasts, handling Letters of Credit (LCs), and ensuring compliance with customs, VAT, and tax regulations while supporting the technical and production teams.

Import & Export Operations

  • Manage end-to-end import and export activities including LC opening, amendments, retirement, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely customs clearance of raw materials, machinery, and finished goods.
  • Liaise with banks, C&F agents, shipping lines, and insurance companies to ensure smooth operations.

Supply Chain & Procurement Support

  • Coordinate with the procurement team for sourcing, vendor management, and price negotiations.
  • Monitor the timely delivery of imported raw materials, spare parts, and capital machinery.
  • Maintain vendor and supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and conditions.

Commercial Documentation & Compliance

  • Oversee preparation and verification of commercial documents such as LC, PI, CO, B/L, AWB, Form-A, EXP, IMP, and shipping documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, customs regulations, VAT, and tax requirements.
  • Keep updated on government policies, trade regulations, and duty structures.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Monitor foreign currency transactions, exchange rate fluctuations, and payment schedules.
  • Manage banking transactions related to trade finance (LCs, TT, CAD, etc.).
  • Ensure risk mitigation in international trade by monitoring insurance coverage and contract terms.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Develop strategies to minimize lead time and reduce cost in import/export processes.
  • Prepare regular reports on import-export status, LC tracking, shipment schedules, and cost analysis.
  • Provide management with insights on duty drawbacks, bonded warehouse benefits, and other cost-saving opportunities.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and guide the commercial team to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Accounts, Supply Chain, Production, Marketing & Sales) for business support.
  • Train and develop team members for continuous improvement in commercial operations

Government & External Liaison

  • Maintain communication with C&F, customs authorities, port officials, and relevant government bodies.
