Software QA Engineer

Garibook is looking for a Software QA Engineer who is eager to guide, learn and grow in a fast-paced product environment focused on ride-sharing and car rental solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, write and execute manual test cases for web, Android and iOS apps.

Perform functional, regression, integration and UI testing across platforms.

Contribute to and maintain test automation (Playwright / Selenium / Appium).

Perform API testing using Postman (request/response, status codes, edge cases).

Support performance testing using JMeter (basic load and stress scenarios).

Conduct basic security testing in accordance with standard practices.

Prepare and maintain QA documentation (test cases, test reports, checklists).

Follow complete STLC and collaborate with Developers, PMs and Product teams.

Log, track and re-verify bugs using issue tracking tools.

Requirements:

2 –3+ years of experience in Software QA (Web + Mobile preferred).

Strong understanding of STLC, test design techniques and defect lifecycle.

Solid hands-on experience in Manual Testing (Android, iOS & Web).

Practical experience with at least one Automation Framework:

Playwright or Selenium or Appium.

Experience with API testing in Postman.

Basic experience with Performance Testing using JMeter.

Basic Security Testing knowledge (common vulnerabilities, basic checks).

Programming knowledge in Python or Java (for scripting/automation).

Familiarity with Android & iOS app testing (APK/IPA, logs, builds).

Good analytical skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Additional Requirement:

Experience testing Flutter-based mobile applications (Android & iOS), including screens, navigation flows and basic state handling.

Understanding of Flutter concepts such as widgets, navigation and app lifecycle as they relate to QA testing.

Familiarity with real-time communication features using WebSocket / Pusher or similar technologies.

Ability to validate: Live state updates and real-time data refresh in the app, Connection and reconnection behaviour, Error/retry flows for real-time events.
