About the Role:

NYBSYS is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our Telecom & Networking Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about software development and telecom technologies like 4G LTE and 5G. You will work alongside experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in building next-gen network tools, microservices, and telecom automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development


• Assist in the development of microservices and automation tools


• Write clean, efficient code in Python, C, or C++


• Contribute to diagnostic and performance monitoring tools for LTE/5G networks

Network Integration & Support


• Learn and support IP-based network architecture (routing, NAT, VPNs, etc.)


• Assist in integrating core and RAN network components


• Help troubleshoot basic networking issues under guidance

Testing & QA


• Participate in lab testing and software validation


• Support the creation and execution of test cases


• Document results and collaborate on fixes

Collaboration & Learning


• Work closely with software, network, and QA teams


• Follow secure coding practices and telecom standards


• Maintain proper documentation and attend technical discussions

Requirements:

Education


• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Skills & Experience


• 1+ year of experience (internship/project experience acceptable)


• 1+ years of hands-on software development experience in Python, C, or C++; Git version control proficiency.


• Understanding of networking concepts: IP routing, switching, NAT, VPNs


• Familiarity with Linux and Git


• Willingness to learn telecom protocols and systems


• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs


• Familiarity with Wireshark, tcpdump, or IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP)


• Basic knowledge of LTE/5G networks or RAN systems
