Sr. Office Assistant / Jr. Officer - Supply Chain

Job Description / Responsibility

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regularly visit the market to collect quotations from suppliers and assess competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and forward comparative statements (CS) to the supervisor for review and approval.
  • Perform accurate data entry for received requisitions and delivered materials in the system.
  • Receive hard copies of documents from user departments to ensure proper documentation.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and provide update to concerned departments.
  • Disburse cheques or payment summaries to suppliers in accordance with approved procedures.

Educational Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or completion of a relevant trade course, is preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates with a minimum of one (01) year of relevant experience will be given preference.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
