Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire merchandising process from product development to shipment.
  • Communicate effectively with buyers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop product samples as per buyer's requirements and follow up until approval.
  • Monitor production schedules, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare costing, pricing, and negotiate with buyers to secure orders.
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting for all merchandising activities.
  • Coordinate with QA and logistics teams for smooth shipment and delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and vendors.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or related field).

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a reputed knit & woven garments manufacturer or buying house.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of knit & woven product development and production process.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (both written & spoken).
  • Good understanding of global fashion trends and buyer expectations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
