Assistant Engineer/Engineer - Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation-Liner & Medium, Paper Plant

Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:
Meghna Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. (Liner & Medium, Plant -5), one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), which is involved in producing Industrial paper and Coated duplex board etc. The position will play the Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation related engineering responsibilities and will report to the functional head.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with spare parts management to prepare a list of preventive maintenance in accordance with the process.
  • Identify and source quality spare parts and components required for the maintenance and repair of the organization`s fleet.
  • Maintain the log sheet, operator logbook and normal/abnormal parameters to ensure proper tracking of the circumstances.
  • Assist in the operating, erection and commissioning of machines when required.
  • Assist in analyzing trends and taking corrective measures for repetitive problems.
  • Prepare mechanical instrument requisitions for preventive and regular maintenance.
  • Assist in finding operational problems and troubleshooting during plant operation.
  • Support the production team to resolve issues and enhance departmental and operational processes.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Skills Required: Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation

Experience Requirements

  • At least 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
