JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Short- and Long-Term Learning Strategy

• Develop and align short- and long-term learning strategies with workforce requirements and current/future business needs.

• Drive continuous initiatives to integrate technology for scaling effective training and development solutions.

Training Needs Analysis

• Conduct requirement-gathering meetings with key stakeholders to identify training needs.

• Define program requirements unique to each function and collaborate with business units to ensure alignment.

• Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs.

Training Planning and Execution

• Guide the team to develop an annual training calendar based on inputs from line managers and employees; incorporate feedback and obtain necessary approvals.

• Lead the creation, collation, and finalization of training content and materials, including leadership development and value-building initiatives.

• Identify and select internal and external trainers; monitor training delivery as per the calendar.

• Collaborate with external training partners for the successful implementation of training programs.

• Review training metrics and feedback; implement necessary changes to training plans based on evaluation results.

• Track adherence to the annual training calendar and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Budget Management

• Prepare and present the budget for training activities; re-evaluate and adjust the budget as needed; secure approvals from supervisors.

Process Improvement and Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, such as introducing new training delivery modes and increasing self-learning opportunities.

• Maintain knowledge management practices and stay updated with the latest training trends and

technologies.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Business Graduate, preferable an MBA degree in Human Resource Management.

EXPERIENCE

• 7 – 8 years of relevant experience in handling Learning & Development related activities.
• Exceptional knowledge and experience in driving learning & developmental activities with a large workforce.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Strategic thinking with the ability to align learning initiatives to business objectives
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple training programs simultaneously
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report training effectiveness
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools
• Experience in designing and delivering blended learning solutions
• Leadership capability to guide and mentor L&D team members
• Innovative approach to learning formats
