Director Academics CIE / IB Schools (Dhaka, Bangladesh)

We are hiring a Director Academics for a reputed chain of international schools in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

This is a C-suite, expat-level leadership position with attractive compensation and global exposure.

Earlier we were looking for candidates who had prior experience as DIRECTOR ACADEMICS and have been responsible for more than one K12 CIE school.

NOW the search has been modified

- NOW applications will also be considered from one-school Principals provided they have headed a K12 CIE school for 5 years or more

DETAILS :

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the academic vision, strategy, and curriculum across multiple campuses.
• Manage and mentor a team of Principals across different schools, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with the groups academic vision.
• Take equal responsibility for the development, growth, and performance of all schools under the group.
• Ensure outstanding results in IGCSE & A-Levels, with a proven record of toppers and global university placements.
• Drive academic innovation, audits, and analytics for continuous improvement.
• Build teacher capacity through training, workshops, and academic leadership.
• Establish the school group as Bangladeshs #1 international education brand.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Doctorate / M.Ed (preferred).
• Experience:
• 10+ years of leadership in K-12 schools (CIE / IB / CBSE).
• At least 5 years as Head of a K12 CIE school (mandatory).
• Prior experience as Academic Director of multiple schools is a strong plus.
• Proven track record in:
• Delivering strong IGCSE / A-Level results.
• Curriculum design, academic audits, and interventions.
• Leading teacher training and academic excellence initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, preferably with international exposure.

CTC PROVISIONED :

• Approx. 85 Lakhs per annum (after tax).
• Equivalent to USD 10,000+ per month plus expat-level perks (housing, etc.).

• Final offer will depend on profile and current CTC.
