Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager (VAT) based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Manager (VAT) will oversee VAT compliance, ensure accurate VAT reporting, and maintain adherence to applicable regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data and reports for VAT purposes, ensuring timely submissions, and collaborating with accounting and finance teams. Additional duties involve ensuring accurate journal entries, fixed asset management, and supporting financial activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Finance.
  • Proficient in Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and Fixed Assets management.
  • Familiarity with VAT-related regulations and compliance standards in Bangladesh.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage VAT processes efficiently.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications in finance or taxation will be considered an advantage.
