Area Sales Manager- Electrical Business
Job Description / Responsibility
- Manage area-wise sales targets, formulate Field Force incentives, monitor expenses, and submit tour programs to the supervisor.
- Conduct performance evaluations and lead monthly sales meetings.
- Implement effective credit management strategies to optimize business performance.
- Plan and execute sales activities to achieve objectives, including product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Collect and analyze market data to provide strategic recommendations for market growth.
- Motivate team members and deliver on-the-job training to enhance skills.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Establish strong networks with traders and end-users to expand market presence.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors and customers to provide support.
- Create strategic sales plans to capitalize on regional opportunities and minimize credit risks.
- Ensure compliance with after-sales service policies.
- Mentor field officers through leadership initiatives and targeted training programs.
- Monitor competitor activities and maintain effective communication between customers and management.
- Resolve sales-related issues through cross-departmental coordination.
- Support marketing initiatives, evaluate trade activities, and innovate promotional strategies.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor/Honors
- Skills Required: Market Development, Leadership and teamwork, Distributor Management, B2B and B2C sales and marketing
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
