Schedule Details/Additional Information

Monday–Friday 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM with rotating weekends and holidays

Essential Functions

  • Accurately accession and register specimens for processing and testing.
  • Maintain high quality and productivity as required by the laboratory.
  • Follow designated procedures for labeling and processing; sort and deliver specimens to technical areas as assigned.
  • Prepare solutions, reagents, and laboratory supplies as assigned.
  • Operate all necessary equipment in the designated laboratory.
  • Answer phone calls and paging systems as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with
    College of American Pathologists (CAP)
    requirements and Raffles Medical Group laboratory standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Work in a fast-paced environment alongside physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Handle biohazardous (infectious) materials, as well as chemical, fire, and mechanical hazards safely.
  • Required to stoop, reach, and lift loads ranging from light (20 pounds) to moderately heavy (50 pounds).
  • May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in
    Chemical, Biological, or Life Sciences
    preferred.

Pay Range

$22.50 – $33.75
