Job Title:  Assistant Lab Officer

Type of Employment: Regular

Department: Textile Lab

Job Location: Tejgaon, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:

· Conduct all allotted tests as per methods and SOP.

· Prepare initial test report and verify accuracy of test results.

· Monitor any discrepancy in test material, method or equipment.

· Ensure all assigned tests are completed within stipulated timeline.

· Keep all necessary records of the tests conducted.

· Maintain stock records and monitor the consumables.

· Maintain all QC parameters as per SOP/guideline and update daily QC.

· Maintain equipment performance and up-to-date calibration records.

· Keep the test area clean and maintain impeccable housekeeping all around. 

Required Skills:

· Soft Skills: Organized, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, problem-solving skills, patience, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Proficiency in problem-solving, patience, proactive approach, and multitasking abilities. 

· Technical Skills: ISO/IEC 17025 Certification, Basic Training in Calibration & Measurement Uncertainty, Basic knowledge on dying/finishing/weaving/garment making.

Educational Requirements:

Perform the all Colourfastness  test as per international test method as well have to good knowledge about assessment, reporting. 
Background: BS.C in Textile, MS.C In Chemistry. 

Experience Requirements:

1-4 years of experience in relevant functional area

Other Job Requirements:

· Language Proficiency: Proficient in both English and Bangla

· Computer literacy: Hand-on experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
