Simpoysha -A subsidiary of Simpaisa Holdings is hiring for a Legal Counsel in Dhaka, Bangladesh who will be reporting to Global Head of Legal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate routine commercial agreements and service contracts.
  • Assist in legal compliance, licensing, and regulatory filings.
  • Provide legal support for day-to-day business operations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare internal legal opinions.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel where required.
  • Support litigation management and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university; must be enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council.
  • 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal practice.
  • Strong understanding of Bangladeshi commercial and regulatory laws.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
