Position Overview

Mojaru is building next-generation AI-powered EdTech solutions used by thousands of students globally. We're seeking a skilled
AI Engineer
with practical experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and model deployment to join our innovation team.

You will work directly with the CTO to develop AI models for personalised learning, automated exam systems, speech recognition, and chatbot solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, train, and fine-tune AI/ML models for:
  • Personalised learning (adaptive syllabus)
  • AI-based exam evaluation (written, MCQ, speaking)
  • NLP chatbots and virtual assistants
  • Recommendation engines
  • Implement AI pipelines using Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Integrate LLMs, embeddings, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech features.
  • Deploy AI models into production using Docker, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work closely with LMS, Exam, and ERP engineering teams.
  • Optimise model accuracy, inference time, and scalability.
  • Research and experiment with state-of-the-art AI tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum
    1 year of hands-on experience
    building AI/ML solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Python
    ,
    Machine Learning
    , and
    Deep Learning
    .
  • Experience with
    TensorFlow / PyTorch / scikit-learn
    .
  • Experience with
    NLP
    ,
    LLMs
    , or
    embedding-based search
    .
  • Experience using
    REST APIs
    ,
    FastAPI/Django
    , and model deployment.
  • Knowledge of
    Speech Recognition (Whisper, DeepSpeech)
    is an advantage.
  • Experience with
    AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
    is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in CSE, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field.
  • Portfolio/GitHub demonstrating previous AI work.
  • Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS) is a plus.
