Engineer or Senior Engineer, Central Monitoring Center

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Monitor services, networks, data center and security components 24/7 in roaster using dashboards and alerts.
  • Circulate event and incident notifications on time.
  • Provide first-level support across services, networks, security, and data center operations.
  • Conduct sanity checks and testing after deployments.
  • Engage concerned technical teams and external vendors during incidents.
  • Perform service desk activities within SLA, including request handling, email responses, and operational tasks.
  • Analyze system logs and assist in issue identification and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate planned maintenance updates to stakeholders.
  • Perform and follow up UAT activities as required.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
  • Skills Required: Monitoring and Evaluation, Network Operation, Stakeholder Management

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Banks, Telecommunication, Software Company, IT Enabled Service, Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, GSM, programming basics, database, operating systems, networking, scripting and APIs.
  • Understanding of software/system components and their interactions.
  • Hands-on skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and judgmental skills.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent knowledge updates and shifting technologies.
  • Sincere, patient, accurate, and able to maintain a 360-degree approach to responsibilities.
  • Professional interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
