Nymph Solutions Ltd. is expanding its engineering team. We are looking for an AI Engineer who enjoys building production-grade AI systems and working within large, evolving backend codebases. If you care about system design, maintainability, and scalable AI architectures, we'd love to connect.

You will design and build LLM-powered applications, including chatbots, RAG pipelines, and agent-based workflows. The role involves building and maintaining AI services within large backend systems, following solid design principles and collaborating closely with backend engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI agents and agentic workflows using LangChain / LangGraph
  • Build conversational AI systems and chatbots
  • Design and implement RAG pipelines (chunking, embeddings, indexing, retrieval, reranking)
  • Integrate AI modules with LLM APIs (OpenAI and others) and internal tools
  • Build and maintain backend AI microservices (FastAPI preferred)
  • Work within large backend codebases using proper architecture and design patterns
  • Apply clean code practices, modular design, and separation of concerns

Core Requirements (Must Have)

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, LLM applications, or intelligent automation
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent frameworks
  • Practical experience with OpenAI APIs, embeddings, and RAG systems
  • Strong understanding of RAG fundamentals: embeddings, chunking, indexing, retrieval, reranking
  • Strong experience with MongoDB, including schema design and performance considerations
  • Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS)
  • Experience building LLM-powered applications or chatbots
  • Experience working with large backend systems, applying design patterns and writing maintainable code
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, Git, and modern development workflows

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience designing AI systems with production constraints (cost, latency, failure handling)
  • Understanding of transformer-based models and LLM evaluation techniques
  • Experience refactoring or extending existing backend systems safely

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with FastAPI
  • PostgreSQL experience
  • Docker and cloud deployment experience
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and observability (logging, tracing, monitoring)
  • Experience with async workers or task queues (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ)
