About The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support our team in Bangladesh. You will be responsible for two core areas:
- proactively sourcing and onboarding new communities and partners to grow our network, and
- fostering engagement and managing our communities.

Key Responsibilities
*Business Development & Strategic Outreach:*
- Identify, research, and map relevant online and offline communities, influencers, and key opinion leaders within the Bangladeshi space.
- Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to build partnerships and integrate these communities into our ecosystem.
- Generate qualified leads and partnerships that contribute directly to our user growth and brand awareness goals.
Community Management & Engagement
- Manage and moderate our company's online communities (e.g., Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, Discord, LinkedIn) ensuring a positive experience for all members.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies, including online events, webinars, contests, and discussions, to foster active participation.
- Create, curate, and share relevant content (in both Bangla and English) that resonates with the local community.
- Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to build partnerships and integrate these communities into our ecosystem.
- Generate qualified leads and partnerships that contribute directly to our user growth and brand awareness goals.
What We're Looking For
- Local Market Expert: Deep understanding of the Bangladeshi digital landscape, social media trends, and community dynamics.
- Proven Experience: Experience in business development, partnership management, community management, or a related role. A strong existing network is a huge plus
- Excellent Communicator: Flawless verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla. You know how to tailor your message for different audiences.
- Natural Connector: You love talking to people, are a great listener, and have a genuine passion for building and nurturing relationships.
- Proactive & Self-Motivated: You are a hustler who can work independently, identify opportunities, and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using various community platforms, social media tools, and basic analytics.
- Experience working in a startup or fintech.
- Personal experience in building or managing a community (even as a volunteer or for a personal project).
