Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for the Head of Logistics & Distribution. The role involves overseeing and managing logistics operations, including supply chain processes, distribution, and inventory management. Responsibilities also include optimizing warehouse and transportation efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving operational excellence. The Head of Logistics & Distribution will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives while managing vendor and stakeholder relationships effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in supply chain management, logistics operations, and inventory control
  • Experience in warehouse management, distribution processes, and transportation logistics
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Effective leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with logistics technology tools, software, and ERP systems
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and industry regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvements and cost-reduction strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience in consumer goods or a similar industry is a plus
