Role Description

  1. Product Quality Assurance

  2. Monitor and ensure compliance with buyer specifications and factory quality standards.

  3. Conduct inline, end-line, and final inspections to detect defects.

  4. Reduce defect rates and minimize buyer claims.

  5. Process Control & Improvement

  6. Analyze production processes for quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  7. Conduct root cause analysis of critical defects and ensure timely resolution.

  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.

  9. Team Leadership & Development

  10. Supervise and guide quality checkers, line inspectors, and auditors.

  11. Conduct regular training and skill development programs for the quality team.

  12. Evaluate team performance and maintain high levels of competency and attendance.

  13. Compliance & Audit Readiness

  14. Ensure readiness for buyer, third-party, and internal audits.

  15. Maintain all necessary documentation, reports, and records for audit purposes.

  16. Implement corrective actions from audit findings and follow-up on compliance.

  17. Cross-Functional Coordination

  18. Collaborate with Production, Merchandising, and IE teams for smooth operations.

  19. Provide quality inputs during pre-production and first-piece approvals.

  20. Resolve quality-related issues promptly in coordination with relevant departments.

  21. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  22. Implement quality best practices, lean, and 5S methodologies across production lines.

  23. Identify and introduce innovative solutions to reduce defects and waste.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or equivalent.

  2. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in garments quality control or quality assurance, preferably in export-oriented factories.

  3. Strong knowledge of garment production processes, inspection techniques, and AQL standards

  4. Experience in handling buyer audits and compliance documentation (especially Primark, KIABI, Inditex)
