Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our merchandising team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing Purchase Orders (POs) within our ERP system. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of information between our merchandising and production departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter Merchandising Purchase Orders (POs) into the company's ERP software.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents and update existing data as required.
  • Retrieve data from the ERP system as requested by the merchandising and management teams.
  • Maintain a detailed record of all data entries and generate regular reports.
  • Identify and report any data discrepancies or errors for correction.
  • Ensure all data entry tasks are completed in a timely manner to support production schedules.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all data and information.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to resolve any PO-related queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar administrative role.
  • Must have hands-on experience working with any ERP software.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent typing speed and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of data confidentiality principles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • HSC or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
