Senior Officer, Strategic Procurement and Contract Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead contract lifecycle management including drafting, evaluation, renewal, and compliance monitoring.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to monitor procurement KPIs, vendor performance, savings, and lead times.
  • Conduct spend analysis, market intelligence, and risk assessments to support strategic decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify inefficiencies, risks, or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee procurement policy compliance and support internal and external audits.
  • Guide team members on data-driven procurement decisions and process improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support ERP/procurement system enhancements and automation initiatives.
  • Mentor junior procurement staff to build analytical and contractual expertise.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputed university, preferably in Engineering/Supply Chain/Business Administration/Finance/Operations Management.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management.
  • Proven experience in Power BI/dashboarding, analytics, and report automation.
  • Experience in the textile, fashion retail, or manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, and category management.
  • Contract drafting, negotiation, and legal compliance.
  • Power BI, MS Excel (advanced), and ERP/Procurement systems.
  • KPI monitoring and data visualization best practices.
