We are hiring for the following position:

Job Role: Executive – Supply Chain Management

Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Reports to: Manager, Supply Chain Management / COO

Position Summary:

The Executive – Supply Chain Management will be responsible for ensuring smooth, cost-effective, and timely procurement, logistics, inventory, and vendor coordination to support Tenax International's operations in Bangladesh and Myanmar. The role requires strong organizational skills, negotiation ability, and cross-functional collaboration to meet both local and international supply requirements.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in compliance with company policy.

Ensure timely procurement of telecom equipment, lithium-ion batteries, solar systems, and other materials.

Logistics & Import-Export Management:

Coordinate shipping, customs clearance, and transportation for imported/exported goods.

Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to warehouses and project sites.

Maintain compliance with Bangladesh and other countries' import/export regulations.

Inventory & Warehouse Management:

Monitor stock levels and prepare periodic reports on available inventory.

Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and documentation.

Implement FIFO/LIFO inventory methods as applicable.

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with Finance, Technical, and Project Teams to align SCM activities with project requirements.

Maintain a daily/weekly procurement tracker (RFQ floated, PO issued, shipment started, delivery completed).

Report supply chain risks and propose solutions to minimize delays.

Process Improvement:

Assist in developing SCM policies, SOPs, and vendor evaluation frameworks.

Explore cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Support digitalization and ERP-based supply chain monitoring.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Knowledge of import-export documentation and logistics operations.

Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP systems (preferred).

Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Bangla & English).

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, or Related Field.

Experience in the telecom/energy sector will be an added advantage.

1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics; however, freshers are also encouraged to apply.
