Job Description: HR & Compliance Manager

Education Requirements
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Human Resource Management
Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resource Management
Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resources or Social Compliance (preferred)
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources & Compliance.
Prior experience in the following industries will be considered an advantage:
Garments
Group of Companies
Plastic/Polymer Industry
Garments Accessories
Additional Requirements
Strong expertise in compliance management and foreign buyer audit handling.
In-depth knowledge of the Bangladesh Labor Law, buyer compliance standards, and international audit protocols.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and Google Suite.
Skilled in HR Database and payroll software, especially Kormee.
Demonstrated experience in employee welfare, grievance management, and training programs.
Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills in both English and Bengali.
Strong leadership qualities, proactive attitude, and ability to manage multiple HR and compliance initiatives simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HR and Compliance policies in alignment with Bangladesh Labor Law, Buyers' Code of Conduct (COC), and industry standards.
Lead and oversee compliance audits and inspections including BWB, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, C-TPAT, GRS, and others.
Conduct orientation and induction programs for new employees and support ongoing training programs on compliance, safety, ethics, and labor law awareness.
Manage grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and lawful processes.
Form and operate Safety, Grievance, and Anti-Harassment Committees to foster a positive work environment.
Ensure proper HR documentation management, maintaining updated personal files of employees.
Analyze attrition trends, conduct exit interviews, and implement employee retention strategies.
Assist in developing and monitoring factories according to ACCORD & ALLIANCE standards (fire safety, building safety, electrical safety) and ensure continuous improvement.
Draft and issue office orders, notices, memos, and letters, and coordinate with departments during audits and factory visits.
Monitor and enforce discipline, housekeeping, and overall employee relations to maintain harmony and productivity.
