Visa Officer

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Review and evaluate visa applications and supporting documents
  • Conduct applicant interviews when required
  • Verify personal, financial, and travel-related information
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws, regulations, and policies
  • Identify fraudulent or incomplete applications and take appropriate action
  • Maintain accurate records and case files
  • Communicate decisions clearly to applicants and relevant authorities
  • Liaise with embassies, consulates, and government agencies
  • Provide guidance to applicants regarding visa requirements and procedures

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Public Administration, or a related field (BBA or MBA).
  • Skills Required: Tourist visa processing

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline,Travel Agent, GSA, Tour Operator, Immigration/Visa Processing, Transport Service, Travel Startup, Transport Startup, Airport Service

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in immigration, consular services, or administrative roles (preferred)
  • Proficiency in
    computer systems
    and
    visa processing software.
  • Multilingual skills are an advantage.
