Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated 
Business Development Manager
to join our team. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive partnerships, acquire enterprise customers, and grow revenue. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, analytical, and has strong communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Management

  • Identify and onboard new SaaS merchants, tech distributors, affiliates, and partners
  • Develop partnership proposals, pricing models, and collaboration strategies
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to achieve margin and revenue goals

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Generate and manage a pipeline of enterprise and SMB clients
  • Lead product demos, sales pitches, and business proposals
  • Close deals and convert leads into long-term strategic accounts
  • Track and report on KPIs: conversion rate, deal size, sales cycle, etc

Market Expansion & Research

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Recommend new markets, verticals, and product improvements
  • Identify gaps in our partner ecosystem and suggest/take the initiative on business opportunities

Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with partners, clients, and technology teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales and tech teams
  • Ensure partners and clients are well supported and engaged

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly revenue and pipeline reports for leadership
  • Present business insights, forecasts, and recommendations
  • Ensure CRM/report is up to date and used effectively for tracking prospects

Strategic Activities:

  • Help plan and run business development initiatives (webinars, events, workshops)
  • Provide data-driven inputs to the marketing team for creating partner-focused collaterals
  • Work with the tech team to align on consumer behavior insights and roadmap improvements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–4 years' experience
     in Business Development, Partnerships or Sales
  • Good understanding of 
    SaaS business models
    , subscription operations, and marketplaces
  • Experience with proposal writing and contract negotiation
  • Strong network-building, presentation, and communication skills
  • Analytical, solution-oriented mindset and good project management capability
  • Bonus / Preferred
    : Experience in selling SaaS products, working with reseller/affiliate networks, or managing partner ecosystems
