ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager at The Daily Campus. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, creating and implementing sales strategies, and meeting sales targets. The role will require frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular reporting to the management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record in business development
  • Significantly large customer or agency sales experience
  • Experience in closing sales and generating revenue
  • Solid understanding of the advertising ecosystem, digital advertising, and digital marketing to help customers reach their marketing goals through our platforms
  • Able to effectively and confidently communicate and influence senior stakeholders (Management and C-level clients)
  • Ability to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the news media, ad agency, or publishing industry is a plus
  • Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are also a plus
  • Bachelor's in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration.

EXPERIENCES:

Minimum 6 years in Sales/ Business Development.
