Senior Counsellor & Admissions Officer - 2 Vacancies

Role Overview

The Senior Counsellor & Admissions Officer will manage
end-to-end student counselling, admissions, and visa applications
for top destinations including Australia, UK, Canada, Malaysia, and New Zealand, Japan, Korea, China The role requires expert knowledge of
course selection, university admissions, visa regulations, documentation, and compliance
. The candidate will serve as the
primary point of contact for students
, ensuring smooth processing from enquiry to successful enrolment and visa approval.

Key Responsibilities (A to Z)

A. Advisory & Counselling

  • Provide
    career and course guidance
    tailored to students' academic background and goals.
  • Conduct
    one-on-one counselling sessions
    with students and parents.

B. Student Handling

  • Handle inquiries from
    telesales, marketing campaigns, walk-ins, and referrals
    .
  • Ensure follow-up and student nurturing for higher
    conversion rates
    .

C. Country-Specific Expertise

  • Stay updated on
    admission criteria, documentation, and visa regulations
    for Australia, UK, Canada, Malaysia, and New Zealand.

D. Documentation & Compliance

  • Verify and manage
    academic documents, financial proofs, recommendation letters, and passports
    .
  • Ensure applications meet
    university and government compliance requirements
    .

E. Application Management

  • Prepare, submit, and track
    student applications
    to universities and colleges.
  • Manage
    offers, acceptance letters, and conditional approvals
    .

F. Visa Application Handling

  • Manage
    end-to-end student visa applications
    .
  • Prepare all
    visa documents
    , forms, and supporting materials.
  • Liaise with
    embassies, consulates, and visa processing centers
    as needed.
  • Ensure timely submission and monitor
    visa approvals
    .
  • Advise students on
    pre-departure requirements, interviews, and compliance
    .

G. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain
    CRM records
    for students and applications.
  • Prepare
    weekly/monthly reports
    for admissions, enrolments, and visa status.

H. Coordination & Teamwork

  • Collaborate with
    telesales, marketing, BDMs, and compliance teams
    .
  • Mentor
    junior counsellors
    and assist in training initiatives.

I. Market Research & Updates

  • Stay updated on
    university programs, scholarship schemes, and visa regulations
    .
  • Conduct
    competitive research
    to improve counselling strategies.

J. Student Engagement & Retention

  • Conduct
    pre-departure briefings
    and post-enrolment guidance.
  • Maintain long-term relationships for
    referrals and repeat business
    .

K. Target Achievement

  • Achieve
    monthly/quarterly targets
    for file openings, enrolments, and visa approvals.
  • Ensure high
    lead-to-application and application-to-visa conversion rates
    .

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum
    4 years
    experience in
    study abroad counselling and visa processing
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    admissions, visa applications, and compliance
    for Australia, UK, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand.
  • Excellent
    communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
    .
  • Proficient in
    CRM, MS Office, and online application portals
    .
  • Strong
    organizational and multitasking abilities
    .
  • Ability to
    mentor junior counsellors
    and handle multiple student cases simultaneously.
