Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to identify issues, prevent defects, and improve overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report issues with detailed documentation.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with developers to resolve defects.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is maintained.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize automation frameworks and testing processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
  • Strong programming skills in
    Python
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools such as
    Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest
    .
  • Experience with
    API testing tools
    (Postman/RestAssured/Karate/etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with
    version control systems
    (Git).
  • Knowledge of
    PostgreSQL
    and database testing.
  • Strong understanding of
    SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices
    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in
    performance testing
    (JMeter, Gatling, Locust).
  • Familiarity with
    cloud environments
    (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of
    containerization tools
    (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Nice to have ISTQB or other QA certifications.
