Role Description

Dongyi Textile is seeking a full-time Assistant Merchandiser to join our on-site team in Dhaka. The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in managing daily operational tasks such as coordinating with suppliers and buyers, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery. The role involves assisting in product development, sample production, and maintaining accurate communication channels with clients to ensure excellent service. This position requires an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with a focus on client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively coordinate with clients and suppliers
  • Experience or skills in Sales, Retail, and building client relationships
  • Basic knowledge in Marketing to assist with promotional strategies and market trends
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Prior experience in textile or apparel merchandising is a plus
  • Proficiency in using relevant office software tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
