Summary of Role

As the Marketing & Merchandising Intern you will support the sourcing, merchandising and marketing functions, working closely with sourcing, product-development and brand-services teams. You will gain hands-on exposure to apparel categories across all categories and support efforts to position products, monitor market trends, assist in sourcing decisions and help communicate the brand's offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in
    market / trend research
    : monitor consumer/retail trends in apparel, accessories and activewear; compile trend reports and present findings to the team.
  • Contribute to marketing content: help create product presentation materials (PowerPoint / PDF), support social-media posts, website updates, and internal communications about new capabilities or collections.
  • Support the
    merchandising process
    : help prepare line-sheets, product specifications, pricing comparisons, product cost breakdowns, and support sample tracking.
  • Aid in
    sourcing follow-up
    : coordinate with vendor/factory partners, assist in sample tracking, liaise with product‐development and sourcing teams to ensure timelines are met.
  • Work
    cross-functionally
    with design, sourcing, QA and logistics teams to ensure alignment of merchandising and marketing priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong AI / Excel / PowerPoint skills; comfortable handling data and creating presentations
  • Currently pursuing (or recently graduated in) Merchandising, Textile & Apparel Management, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong interest in apparel sourcing, supply-chain, fashion merchandise and sustainable production.
  • Basic knowledge of apparel categories (denim, knits, woven, activewear) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills (English & Bengali); ability to summarise market research, trend findings and write clear reports.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, liaising with internal teams and external partners/factories.
