Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager – Marketing & Merchandising (Activewear & Sportswear)
for our
Marketing & Merchandising Department
, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This
full-time, on-site
role will report to senior management and play a pivotal role in
direct communication with buyers, retailers, and global brands
, representing the factory in all merchandising and pricing-related activities.

The Manager will be responsible for:

  • Direct interaction with buyers, retailers, and brand clients
    , handling product presentation, costing, and price negotiation.
  • Merchandising planning and coordination
    , ensuring products meet buyer requirements and factory capabilities.
  • Costing and price analysis
    for activewear and sportswear lines to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing.
  • Collaborating with design, production, and QA teams
    to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and compliance with buyer specifications.
  • Providing market and product insights
    to management for informed decision-making regarding new product development and line planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Marketing, Business Administration, Textile, or related field.
  • Proven experience in
    merchandising and marketing
    within the fashion/apparel industry, preferably
    knit garments
    .
  • Strong
    ability to communicate, negotiate, and onboard direct buyers, retailers, and brands
    .
  • Hands-on experience in
    product costing, pricing strategy, and buyer coordination
    .
  • Excellent
    relationship management, negotiation, and analytical skills
    .
  • Ability to work collaboratively with
    design, production, and cross-functional teams
    .
  • Knowledge of
    global activewear and sportswear market trends
    is preferred.
