Senior Analyst/Analyst – Business Intelligence

Job Responsibilities

Data Collection & Quality Management

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple systems, databases, and business units.
• Ensure high data integrity by identifying, correcting, and preventing data inconsistencies and inaccuracies.

Reporting & Data Visualization

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other BI tools.
• Present insights to management through clear, impactful reporting; identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers.

Advanced Data Analysis & Forecasting

• Conduct detailed analysis to understand business performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
• Develop forecasting models and predictive insights to support strategic planning and business decision-making.

Data Governance & Secure Distribution

• Ensure adherence to data governance principles and company security policies when handling and distributing data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI and SSRS reports to ensure smooth reporting operations.

Process Optimization

• Evaluate business processes to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies using data-driven assessments.
• Recommend and support implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver relevant insights.
• Support the development of scalable data flows, systems, and solutions across departments to ensure efficient data accessibility.

Technical Contribution

• Extract and transform data using SQL queries and internal data management tools.
• Build and maintain analytical models and reports using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.
• Participate in data science, automation, and system enhancement projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum
  2 years
  of full-time experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
• Hands-on experience with
  BI tools
  , especially
  Power BI
  .
• Strong understanding of
  machine learning concepts
  , techniques, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in
  Python
  for analysis, modeling, or automation.
• Knowledge of
  big data tools
  and analytical platforms (e.g., R, MATLAB) is an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in
  MIS, CSE, Statistics
  , or related field.
• Basic understanding of
  accounting and financial principles
  .
• Advanced
  MS Excel
  proficiency (pivot tables, what-if analysis, macros).
• Strong expertise in
  SQL, PL/SQL
  , and other RDBMS technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
