Job Context:
We are looking for a Business Analyst (Mid-Level) with 3+ years of experience in the software industry to support requirement analysis and business solution design for diverse digital products and projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in gathering and documenting requirements, preparing business and functional specifications, supporting budget estimation, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and Project Managers to ensure that business goals are translated into well-defined, implementable solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering and analysis sessions with clients, stakeholders, and end-users to understand business needs.
- Prepare detailed and structured documentation such as SRS (Software Requirement Specifications), BRD (Business Requirement Documents), PRD (Product Requirement Documents), and ToR (Terms of Reference).
- Assist in budget estimation, cost breakdowns, and project proposal preparation under the guidance of senior team members.
- Develop use cases, process flows, ERDs, UML diagrams, and wireframes to model business and system requirements.
- Create professional presentations and reports summarizing requirements, findings, and proposed solutions for client and management review.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements.
- Participate in project planning, scope definition, and feature prioritization within Agile or hybrid frameworks.
- Maintain requirement traceability and ensure that documentation remains updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to competitive research, process improvement, and workflow optimization initiatives.
- Utilize modern productivity and AI-powered tools to enhance documentation and analysis efficiency.
- Support the preparation of dashboards and reports for project monitoring and performance tracking.
- Work alongside senior analysts to continuously improve documentation standards and business analysis processes.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar role within the software industry.
- Solid understanding of business and functional requirement documentation, and familiarity with SRS, BRD, and PRD preparation.
- Experience with process modeling, use cases, UML diagrams, and workflow design.
- Good knowledge of budget estimation and proposal preparation for software projects.
- Proficiency in presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
- Hands-on experience with requirement management tools (MS Visio, Lucidchart, , Figma, or similar).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools for documentation, research, or workflow optimization will be an advantage.
- Experience in SaaS or software product companies is preferred.
